Digital Marketing Trends for Small Businesses in 2018
Setting up a start up business in 2018?
Or maybe you’re just looking to drive more business in 2018!
Check out my latest post for the marketing trends that you need to invest in to have a prosperous 2018!
Most small business owners expect to use social media content to acquire new customers in 2018, according to recent research from Infusionsoft. Check out their latest infographic to see what they recommend for small businesses in 2018
According to Infusionsoft social media is key with Facebook being the platform of choice for 2018 – 75% of small businesses including it in their social media strategy.
You may already be active on social media and wonder is it really driving sales for your business or are you wasting time? Many businesses use social media but what they don’t always do is track and analyse what is happening on their social media.
Take a look at the tips I recommend to ensure a prosperous new year in social media
Look at the demographics of who currently likes or follows your social media – age, gender, location etc
Look at what posts you have got the most engagement from and continue to post similar content.
Invest in sponsored ads and boost posts to widen your reach.
Look at using new ways of engaging e.g. video content, Facebook Live, setting up Facebook groups
Consider offering downloadable content e.g e-books so that you can capture more information from your audience e.g. email address, specific interests etc so that you can continue to communicate to those customers and bring them through a purchasing life cycle in a more personal way.
If you have a physical product to sell, set up an online shop that is linked to your social media so that you make the purchase process a simple fluid process that encourages purchasing right there and then,
If you need any assistance in getting any of this up and running Live Marketing can assist you either in the set up and or ongoing management of your social media so contact us today.
